Our story

Poured by hand, forty jars at a time.

We started on a kitchen table in 2021 with one scent and a borrowed thermometer. We still pour every batch ourselves, cure it for two weeks, and test-burn one jar from each before anything leaves the studio.

From people's living rooms.

"Smoked Oat is the first candle I've bought twice. It smells like a bakery with the door open."

"Burns evenly right to the bottom, no tunnelling. The refill scheme is a lovely touch."

"Arrived in a cardboard box with wood wool, not a scrap of plastic. The jar is now my pen pot."

Candle care

Fifty hours, if you're kind to it.

  1. Let the first burn reach the edge. Two to three hours, so the wax melts right across and the jar never tunnels.
  2. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each light. Less smoke and a steadier flame.
  3. Keep it out of draughts and never leave it alone in a room. Stop at the last centimetre of wax.
