Your Privacy

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and only collect what we need to deliver your order. Here's exactly what we hold and why.

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1Who We Are

NanaKwanDesign (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent studio selling digital templates, guest apps and printable wall art for short-stay and vacation rental hosts. This policy explains how we handle your personal information when you visit our shop or make a purchase.

In short: We only collect the information needed to process your order and deliver your files. We never sell your data to anyone.

2Information We Collect

Depending on how you use our shop, we may collect:

  • Your name and email address, provided at checkout or when you subscribe to our newsletter
  • Billing details needed to complete a transaction (processed securely by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card number)
  • Your order history and the products you have downloaded
  • Basic technical data such as browser type, device and anonymous usage statistics

3How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver your digital products and download links
  • Send order confirmations, receipts and important account updates
  • Provide customer support and respond to your questions
  • Send occasional product news and offers — only if you have opted in
  • Improve our shop, products and overall customer experience

4Payment Processing

All payments are handled by trusted third-party providers (such as Stripe and PayPal) using industry-standard encryption. Your card details are entered directly with the payment processor and are never stored on our servers. We only receive confirmation that your payment was successful.

5Cookies & Analytics

There are two kinds of thing stored on your device here, and we treat them very differently.

  • Essential — your basket, your sign-in and the checkout. These are needed for the shop to work at all, they are set by us, and they are not part of any choice.
  • Analytics — everything else. None of it runs until you say yes on the cookie banner, and saying no costs you nothing: the shop behaves exactly the same.

If you say yes, three things are switched on:

  • Our own page counter — which pages were viewed, the site you came from, and whether you are on a phone or a computer. It keeps an anonymous visit id that disappears when you close the tab.
  • Microsoft Clarity — anonymised recordings and heatmaps of how pages are used, so we can see where the shop is confusing. This is a Microsoft service, so that data is processed by them and it sets its own cookies.
  • Google Analytics — which pages lead to an order, so we know what is worth keeping. Also a third party. We have deliberately turned off Google's advertising and ad-personalisation signals, so it is used for measurement only.

Changed your mind? Choose “Cookie choices” at the bottom of any page. Saying no afterwards also clears what those tools had already stored.

We never sell this data, never use it for advertising, and never share it with ad networks.

6Email & Marketing

If you join our newsletter, we will email you occasional updates, new releases and special offers. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We will never add you to marketing emails without your consent.

7Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share data with the service providers that help us run the shop — for example our payment processor, email platform and file-delivery host — and only to the extent needed to provide their service.

8Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Request that we delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it
  • Withdraw your consent to marketing at any time

To exercise any of these rights, simply email us at hello@nanakwandesign.com and we’ll take care of it.

9Data Retention & Security

We keep your order information for as long as needed to support your purchase and meet our legal obligations, then securely delete it. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

10Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
